Emily Bell, LCSW
Emily Bell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has relocated from Birmingham to Dothan. She primarily works with children and adolescents. She received her Bachelor degree in Social Work as well as her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama. Emily has worked for several years in the area of child welfare. She has provided in-home services to assist families in crises by teaching family members needed skills to stabilize the home environment, such as improving parenting skills/behavior management. Additionally, she has worked with children and teenagers in therapeutic foster care for several years. During this time, she worked with a variety of issues within the child/adolescent population including ADHD, anxiety, anger, depression, self-esteem, and other issues related to abuse/neglect.
Mary Lockwood, LPC
Mary Lockwood is a Licensed Professional Counselor working with adults in the evening Chemical Dependency, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Dothan, Alabama. She has been with Alabama Psychiatric Services since July 2010. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Psychology and Community Counseling from Troy University. Areas of concentration include psychoeducational treatment for adults diagnosed with severe psychiatric disorders and chemical dependency. Mary recently worked with adolescents in residential treatment with severe mood and personality disorders which included supervising the therapeutic staff for the female residential unit. Mary also has a broad knowledge of available community resources.
