Office of Quality Improvement

APS is committed to the provision of high quality psychiatric and behavioral health services. The provider network is accredited by URAC, an independent accrediting organization that promotes quality healthcare, as a Health Network with Credentialing.

The Office of Quality Improvement tracks clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction responses, and monitors access to care. In addition, the department is responsible for investigating and resolving patient complaints / concerns. The Office of Quality Improvement is responsible for all credentialing activities of the network. All clinicians undergo a thorough credentialing process before entering the provider network. Re-credentialing is conducted for each clinician every three years.

On-site medical record reviews are conducted at provider sites on a regular basis to ensure compliance with network standards. All information shared while in treatment is covered under state and federal laws governing confidentiality.
